Four miles to the summit of Mt. Si - known to some of you as Twin Peaks - and four miles back. Four thousand feet elevation difference. It's a great afternoon hike, unless we have weather that defies even the tern "unseasonable" and soaks you. There was fucking hail until I got a mile below the summit.
But I made it, hiking long after my gear was no longer "water-resistant", driven by an obstinacy that seems lacking in a lot of my conflicts. It was beautiful. I'd do it again.
