A few months ago, my favorite pair of leather pants gave up the ghost. The leather exterior is still good, but the lining and zipper had both seen better days. Since the fit was perfect for me, I scoured the web to find another pair, and the search gods smiled on me and brought me an exact match on eBay. Perfect. I bought them, and have been breaking them in on the occasional night out ever since.
Tonight they failed me completely. During a trip to the restroom, I discovered that the zipper seemed broken; while trying to get it to straighten up, the pull-tab broke off entirely. Thankfully tonight's outfit had a shirt that hung down well past the beltline.
I'm still livid. Is it so much to ask not to have wardrobe malfunctions?
